The Goodyear Welted Construction

Goodyear welting remains the gold standard for our handmade shoe construction. Goodyear welting consists of assembling the upper and the insole through the welt. This stitching provides greater comfort, enhances durability, and significantly extends the shoe's lifespan by allowing easy resoling.

Luxury French Calf Leather

Since 1946, our world renowned tannery located in south-center of France has developed a traditional know-how in the manufacturing of luxury calfskin. Casa De Zoya uses calfskin leather in full-grain, crafted from the outermost premium layer from the animal. Our artisan's touch makes it beautiful and soft by gently hammering the surface: this process brings out the leather's natural characteristics, reviving and giving it body. This essential step requires time and the precision of experienced hands.

SINGLE LAYER LEATHER SOLE

Single leather soles are used for thinner, sleeker footwear. Over time, the leather moulds to the shape of your foot, providing enhanced comfort. The porous nature of leather allows for breathability, resulting in a custom fit that improves with each wear. Made to last from vegetable tanned cowhide. Its edges are smoothed, polished and brushed.
